Fabric Flowers!!

Hello everyone!

So lately I've been creating a lot of fabric flowers! I have been living on the mainland for quite some time now and I've missed wearing flowers that I would pick from plumeria or gardenia trees back home. These are the closest that I'd get to the real thing! I LOVE them and I hope you do too!

 

These are so fun to make! I've found tons of 'how to' videos on YouTube, I've just added my own touches here and there.  I don't sew, (in the process of learning with my new sewing machine!), and now I'm hooked!

Getting Back into the Swing of Things!

I know it's been a really really long time since I last posted.  For the past several months a lot has happened, hindering me from continuing what I love, CREATING! But no more! Doors have been opening up for me and it has given me a new level of confidence.  I'm not going to let what others think or say about me.  I know who I am and that's all that matters!!

Day 2 of 31 Days Challenge

Happy New Year!! My 31 Days Challenge Announcement!!

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year and made lots of memories!! We had a fun night at church with the youth and young adults groups. We played games, ate lots of yummy foods and snacks and watched Prince of Persia! We rang in the new year with some sparkling cider too!

Here's the video I made about my plans for the month of January! I forgot to mention that I will be posting the videos on here so if you follow me on my blog you can see what I'm doing on YouTube. But you can always follow me on both =) If I sound like I'm all over the place, please excuse me I've had lots of caffiene and sugar, haha!!

Happy New Years Eve and 31 Day Challenge!!

Hello everyone!

Wow I can't believe that 2012 is right around the corner! This past year was trying at times and the best thing was that I always had Jesus to turn to for help. I hope that you've all made so many cherished memories with your families and friends over the holidays!

There will be alot of changes in the coming year for me, starting with a 31 Day Challenge throughout the month of January. What I'll be doing is making a video each day about anything from crafting to an outing with my hubby. I've never done anything like this before and I'm gonna do all I can to complete it! I've seen many videos regarding a 31 Day Challenge and I thought, I wonder if I could do it? Wish me luck!!

Crocheted Headbands

Hello everyone!!

I hope you all are having a beauiful day wherever you may be!

Here's a couple of pictures of my latest crocheted creations.

My First Crocheted Purse!!

Hello everyone!!

I hope you all are having a beautiful day, night or afternoon wherever you are!! I've been challenging myself with several things lately and I'd like to share with you the most recent project!

I've only been crocheting for almost a month and I'm pretty happy with what I've learned so far! I saw a great tutorial on YouTube by virigniaomalley. It's a total of 5 videos and it's easy! The only problem I had was the button, let me tell you it looked like a hot mess!lol I can't wait to make more! Infact, I've been asked by several people to make them one too!! Woo Hoo!!!
